Raining SSRi's

Demonstrating with the lack of colorful, vivid emotions inside of a person, the two-part series of "Raining SSRI's" depicts the isolation and drained feelings an individual suffering from the chemical imbalance caused by depression can produce. A great number of people in society are mislead when being informed of what depression can actually feel like and what the symptoms are. There is no mass generalization that covers every diagnosed person and therefore, every case is unique and has different effects. The isolation a diagnosis can cause is depicted strongly by the artist with the body highlighted in shades of black and white, surrounded by a powerful, bright background, indicating the subject is distinctly contrasting in general society. This notion that having depression equates to the impending death of a soul, is just as damning as the actual effects depression has on an individual.
